Hello! I Want Know About Fulfilling The Regulations!

Hi!


First, I apology for bad english(I'm South Korean!)


Now, I entered commercial diving academy in South Korea, and translating the ADCI manual for my own study.


I found many rules for operations from the manual(too many!!!), but in field(work site) rarely keep the rules.


There are even no rules for operating decompression chambers, working time at korean regulations.(It is true!)


So.. my question is in the USA, the rule(ADCI regulations) keeping is extremly important?

You'd be better posting this in the commercial divers section, but in general yes. I'm unfamiliar with those regs but large US companies are always concerned with risk management and violating established best practices and/or government regulations opens you to enormous liability. And in the US there will always be a lawyer willing to try to extract it and often a jury willing to give it to them.
