Blue hole with a 7 mm simi dry is a walk in the park. With a 3mm long and a 3mm shorty over that, is a cold SOB.
Can't believe you did it in 3/6mm. You're more of a man than I. Oh wait, I'm not a man. After only 10 mins in there wearing a 7mm wetsuit and gloves/hood, I am literally turning blue in the face. Looks like I'm a scuba goth chick with blue lipstick.

Dive Plans? Well, I'm going to Belize on March 7. I haven't been able to do salt water for almost a year, so I'm pumped.

Will probably be diving in the Philippines in late summer, but haven't made any definite plans.

Welcome again!

Nope. My new 7 mil was too big for me, but fit him, so he bought it - saving me from having to return it. I'm the one who froze!

He & I went there with our paper C cards 3 years ago, learned a lot about what we didn't know - lots! I went on to Key Largo next, and he decided that Scuba & I both were dangerous. But when I survived a dozen more trips, and kept talking about the mind boggling experiences, he decided to try it again. He's going for AOW & Nx next month, then we do Belize together in June. May be learning from him soon...

We'll think about the second weekend of March. After we get in the water, you can tell your students: "See, if those :mr_t: old farts :mischief: can do it, anyone should be able to!"

Welcome to the "boards" I met wife 13 years ago on a dive trip to the Caymans, I think diving is a great place to meet people. Most of our friends are divers, if the aren't when we meet them then we teach them!!! Dive safe-Dive Alot-M

That'd be cool. We could actually say hey in person!

Which fart is which, so I'll know who's who when I see you? :winky:

Hi Jerry! Glad to see you made it to SB. Are you missing the warm waters of Coz yet? I definitely miss warm anything right now!!

Diverlady (or as you like to call me: Canada)
I only miss Coz when I think about it.
I was sitting ar Punta Sur, drinking a Dos xx'z and watching the waves crash on the reef, under a plam tree just across the street from Bob Marley's at 10:30 Saturday morning. 24 hours later I was sitting in my hot tub watching the snow fall. Yes I miss the tropics, But like McAuthor, I will return!!!

I asked you about your suite on that last dive, I didn't know there was such a thing as a simi dry suit, I have a 7mm. now and that is a good thing for cold water. I really like that!

So are you getting wet lately?

Jerry

Semi-dry is kind of a misnomer. You still get completely wet, you just don't have the same amount of water exchange as you would in a regular suit. You see? You learned all kinds of stuff on the Coz trip!!

Nope, not getting wet lately. :frown2: I'll probably assist in the pool again soon but I won't be in saltwater again until May. (78 days, but who's counting???)

Don and I will be in Belize in June so you will have to report on the action.
I haven't heard anything about the Philipino diving yet but there should plenty of used Japanese military hardware to look at. I 'm thinking there would be quite the collection of American stuff too. It's all good for diving. I see Don has been filling you in earlier, Don is the one with the grey/black hair, Jerry is the one with the brown hair on the sides. 2nd weekend in March? Have to get back to you on that.

Jerry: Those extra seals inside the arms and legs of the new 7 mil suit you bought from me make it a semi-dry like her suite (sic). Think you need to leave the skin off when you wear it, though, as it'll make the seals leak some. Remember D-Lady struggling to get her's on? Use the 10% dish soap solution I showed you to make it slide easier. :slick:

Which female diver you talking to here? The Amarillo gal who's going to the Philippines? I'm lost? :ditsy:

I could send Coppermouse picture of us and the So.American racoon at Punta Sur bar...? :slick:
