Ever since being certified as a diver I have found myself googling my way back here when I had questions, so I figured that I should actually join (actually I thought I already had but had forgotten my password...).

Anyway, I hail from the amazingly dry state of Utah, however my wife and I still manage to find time to go blow some bubbles. She is the one who got me into diving a few years back. We even took our honeymoon in Bonaire. We are also looking forward to visiting her family, who just moved to Hawaii.

We get in whatever diving we can. I am currently working on my Rescue Diver certification.

In my real life I am the master electrician at the Pioneer Theatre Company in SLC. I am also an avid skier and I enjoy hiking and camping as well.

Welcome to ScubaBoard and good luck with the rescue course.
If you haven't found it yet, there is a regional forum; Rocky Mountain Region if you're want a more local flavor. Not many active Utahans in there, mostly those guys on the wrong side of the Rockies.

Welcome to ScubaBoard!! I'm in the even drier state of Arizona, although I spent a lot of my summers as a kid in the Salt Lake City area (Magna).

It has been years since I have been in Utah, but I am related to about every one in that state- Including our next President-
My family just keep on going to California and warm clear water..
