Thanks for the warm welcome! Is this an actual club or a loose association of board members that occasionally gets together? Either one is okay with me; I just couldn’t find any link to joining California Kelp Divers.

You know, I'm not exactly sure how to answer that - maybe something in between? They seem very active, tho, from what Headhunter tells me about the southern chapter. I don't know if you're in southern or northern Calf? You might PM him with particular questions. Or, Dlndavid above is in the northern chapter.

I gave you the path in hopes of encouraging you to explore the SB Matrix, as some people find it a little intimidating at first. I didn't give you a link, for altho you could get there faster, you wouldn't know how to find it again, but here is one now: http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=61 There you will have choices of southern and northern.

You might even post an additional introduction there...

I found the site, went into NorCal and read some of the posts. I just couldn't figure out what CA Kelp Divers was. The above post explained it.
