Hello everyone at scubaboard. I have enjoyed reading stories from fellow divers and I have a few of my own to share. Life for me doesn't revolve around scuba diving. I truly enjoy the road getting there and when i get there. Offroaddiver as some may be curious about is what is the deal with the screen name...offroad= outdoors and diver= guess rofile: My sn on yahoo btw. if you wanna drop a line feel free. I like goin on trips and hate being stuck indoors.
I have been diving for several years then finally saved up enough for the class and basic gear. Kinda sucks when your a teenager and you buy your own gear. Now that i'm in college...little more money but still very little.....can't wait till graduation day.
I'm thinking of getting dive master and get into tech diving as far as my goals go. More immediate goals...get full set of dive gear then get AOW and EAN by next summer.
My dive gear is mostly skin diving use and a computer that i bought on sale and have loved it. I can't afford gear for this year but by next summer will have my own gear.
I got to be an unofficial dive master when the lds instructor let me tag along....hey free tank of air why not...plus i knew the directions to the dive site. Kinda fun keeping the instructor from choking a student who doesn't listen and tries to kill himself by breathing on the regulator the wrong way....it can be done.
Well I share more info if there is a need or request to do so. That's all can think of to share right now.
