Been certified since 2001 but took a big break ofter about 18 dives. Just getting into it again and completing my Advanced Open Water cert. Diving mostly in Laguna with the occasional trip to Catalina or San Diego to dive the wrecks.

Hope to see you in the water someday soon.
:D

So, I'm taking a vacation to see relatives in Laguna and I was considering diving while I was there but my cousins told me that your Ocean isn't as friendly as the Carribean side... as I have a little over 20 dives logged... I'm almost opting out of diving that side till I get more experience... any comments???

Not really a good idea to hijack someone else's thread like that. Start a thread in the SoCal section with more info about when you will be visiting and someone will most likely be willing to go diving with you.

didn't know I was "hijacking".... I apologize...

Welcome back to the water! Was just in Catalina yesterday and lots of divers from all over the world there! It was great! I Love So CAL
