Hello from So Cal

Hi everyone,

I've been diving for a couple years with about 30 dives logged mostly in Cozumel and Bonaire but only a few local dives. I'm planning another trip to Bonaire in September and I want to get out into the local waters before then too. Anyway, just thought I would drop in and say hi as I'm new to the board.

Diving in Southern California is great and year round. Others travel from all over to dive here.

If you want to dive, PM me. I dive every week someplace here abourts. Certified in 2001, AOW with 112 dives and counting all in California.

Sandeaters at http://www.sandeaters.org is another great spot to look. Not a dive club, but a dive scheduling organization, no dues, no membership just a calendar with a dive planned for Sundays at 8:00 a.m. each week (one night dive a month on Saturday night.) You can also sign up for their e-mail list and when a diver wants to dive a different day or location than the schedule they will ping the list and off you go.

Checkout "southcoastdivers.com". This group meets every Saturday and Sunday morning at the Laguna Hills Mall and dives various sites in Laguna Beach. I just started diving with them - nice bunch of people.
