Hi All,

My name is Terkel - I'm an expatriat Dane living in Sunny Seattle and happily diving any body of water I can find... I try to go diving at least once a week and preferable more often -

Cheers,
Terkel

Welcome to the board from Sunny Florida. Hope you made it through the shake up OK. I have quite a few acquaintances and friends in Seattle. Everyone seems to have made it OK.

Hello there WetDane, welcome to the family here at scubaboard. Glad to have you here. I love Seattle by the way, not so much for the diving, but for the mountains, the pool halls and the microbreweries!

Welcome to the boards. I've never been to Seattle but from what I've heard it must be a beautiful city.

Tell us a little about the diving there.

Tom

Welcome to the board, I am a most recent new member. I think you will like the board. Glad your OK. Our science centre here in Ontario recorded the Quake.

Dear Terkel:

Welcome to the board. I lived in Seattle from 1975 until 1989 (then moved to Houston and NASA). It was in Seattle that I helped in the development of the DSAT Recreational Dive Planner.

Every time it becomes hot and humid in Houston, I think of the lovely Puget Sound in summer. :cold:

Best regards,

Hey Buddy,
Very witty.Shaken and not stirred.Well done.I supposed that that will make you the Commander James Bond of the dive-world.Go for it! Look forward to hearing more from you.Any questions or just wanting to gloat about a cool dive then bring and share. We'll all enjoy a feast at your table.Chow from N.Z. From the gasman.

Hey there. Well I'm dying to know what part of Seattle you are in. North, South, Eastside? I'm in the North end myself, up in Snohomish County. I'd love to chat with you a little more. I've seen some really great stuff while I was OW certing in the Edmonds Underwater park, but I just won't do it again without a dry suit. How do you find it diving up here?

Well, well, a fellow Seattle-ite! I'm expatriated to southern Florida now, but Puget Sound is where I learned to dive and kept at it for 6 years. My heart is still there. You weren't by chance u/w when the quake hit, were you? I would be interested in hearing about it from you if you were, or anybody else.
