Heya viking dives! I dive with Deep Blue, and I've met you both briefly out in Santa Rosa. I've been thinking about reaching out and seeing if you guys offer the tech fundamentals class

I thought you looked familiar. I do offer an ITT and Advanced Sidemount. I've got another person who's looking to start next month as well. Give me a shout and we can discuss.

I don't have anything at all against NM, but I'd really like to live somewhere a bit more aquatic. I agree, the weather and scenery are wonderful.

Some of us still come back. I grew up in NM, left, realised that I missed home, and came back. I’m glad to raise my family here.

The lack of access to tropical diving easily does suck, but you take the good with the bad.

I dive mostly in Santa Rosa Blue Hole! It's not incredible, but it's 80' deep and great for practicing skills.

I completely agree, I still feel like such a novice diver -- I don't want to be on the wrong side of the Dunning-Kruger curve 200' down.

Haha, luckily OC is about all I can afford. Maybe someday I'll be fortunate enough to dive a Sidewinder

Hey man, I just recently moved to Artesia. I haven't done the blue hole. Let me know when you are headed that way next and if love to head that way. I don't have a ton of experience, only about 15 dives. Can you recommend dive shops in ABQ?
