I'm happy to say I just passed my OW certification yesterday in Lake George. I plan to get more experience there and have a trip planned in August to Key Largo, FL. My SO (@gqllc007) has been diving his whole life and wanted a dive vacation for his birthday this year. I was determined to celebrate with him so that's where this story begins. Thanks for the info and support!

Welcome to ScubaBoard and congratulations on getting certified.

Welcome to ScubaBoard, and Howdy! from Texas. You will have such a great time in Key Largo, I have dived with Rainbow Reef, and really enjoyed it. I have also dived with Islmorada Dive Shop, and enjoyed that, too. Make some reservations! Consider Rainbow Reef's Night Dive. Seems like it would be scary, but you start at dusk, and as the light fades, all sorts of creatures come out. We saw lots of turtles, crabs, and lobster! You're SO is fortunate to have someone who wants to share diving!

Yeah, more New Yorkers here (and not just the City Folk). Greetings from Western NY. I did my check out dives in Lake George 33 years ago.

Enjoy your new underwater world!
