Hi Everybody,
My name is Eyal. I am new to these boards. I heard this was a nice community so I decided to give it a try.

A little about myself:
24 years old
from Haifa, Israel
got my OW and AOW from SSI.
Got my Rescue & DM from Padi.
Now I am studying for my IE (PADI), which will be in about two weeks.

After the IE, assuming that I will pass, I want to go and work as an instructor somewhere WARM! Like the Caribbeans, central America, Australia or any other place like that. So if anyone has any connections in that part of the world.... :eyebrow:

Anyway... That's me... :)

welcome aboard

Well there are two seas for diving in Israel.
Mediterranean Sea:
No "real" coral reefs. Interesting fish, lately a lot of species that migrated through the Suez Canal from the Red Sea like Manta Rays, Octopuses, Sting Rays, Barracudas, etc... Also some nice Wrecks. Here are some links (but it's all in Hebrew so just look at the pics...) :)

The "Satil" (rocket ship)

"Shire" Submarine:

The Caverns:

Red Sea:
The famous red sea is at the southern tip of Israel, where the city of Eilat is. It's the most northern coral reef in the world. There a lot of stuff you can see from Lion fish, dolphins, octopuses, rays, eels. Also some wrecks. Very nice dive. In my opinion, a nice introduction to the red sea. After you will go there, you must head further south into Sinai, Egypt.

Hope that answers your question. :)

P.S - Looks like I can't post links until I have 5 posts, so after I have 5 posts I will post the links... Sorry...

You can put the links in plain text.

Eyal,

I live in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and run a dive shop with my brother and father. It is in the Mexican Caribbean and the warm water that you are looking for is here! There are many dive shops that will be needing help while the coming months are the high season.

Welcome to the board and good luck with your instructor training!
