Hello from Haarlem, The Netherlands

Hello,

Just finished my OW and my AOW course two weeks ago in Sodwana Bay, South Africa and think I'm hooked to diving now. Diving there was just great and I was amazed by all the things one could see while underwater. Also the freedom you have while being underwater was even better then I expected it to be.

Now back in The Netherlands and wanting to continue diving in the cold murky waters of the north sea. If any probably dutch people know any good dive clubs near haarlem please let me know. And maybe even hooking up for a dive would be nice.

Until now (only found this site two days ago) this site has been a great resource.

to the wonderful world of diving from the US. I used to work for Fluor Daniel and have been to Haarlem several times. I always wondered where divers dived in the area....I assumed the North Sea, but that looks pretty cold!

Otter, Yea I always thought the same, and never really thought about it. Finally checking out what my options are with diving around here. Yea water is about 10 degC.

Could be worse...I saw people diving in Lake Baikal, Siberia in Feb.

Oh boy...

Just finished diving with 4 guys from the Netherlands. Spent a week with them. Talk about loving to dive! Those guys were in HEAVEN in the tropical Carib waters over here.

Think I have their email addy around as well as their website. Will do some digging tonight.
