I posted a question on another part of this forum to find out if anyone has dived Blue Mesa. I want to try late this summer. I dive wet and the lake is very cold. From friends who lived there I know the location of a town and cemetry that was flooded when the lake was filled. I would like to find that town. I checked the regulations and all we need is a dive flag. Just no diving near docks and such.

If you would like to dive the lake let me know.

I have dove in Colorado a couple of times years ago but never Blue Mesa. I dove a couple of reservoirs out east (I live in Castle Rock). The water was muddy and cold. I can only imagine that Blue Mesa is going to be cold, it is deep and fairly high in altitude. No idea about the vis though....
