Hi there!
I'm a college professor that's new to Buffalo and diving. Got certified 13 years ago in a lake in MN, but didn't splash in the ocean until my first dive last summer at Cod Hole at the Great Barrier Reef. Now I'm obsessed! Fortunately, my husband is a very enthusiastic dive buddy so in the past year we've managed to get to the Florida Keys and Bahamas. Love the Florida Keys--so many fish! We're going back to the Keys in Dec. to do our Advanced Open Water and also have a trip planned to Turks and Caicos next spring. Haven't dove locally yet--not too sure about cold water in Lake Erie/Ontario...
Anyway, I'm excited to learn from more experienced divers on the forum and am always looking for advice on dive locations, operators, equipment (we're thinking about getting our own regs and bcds), etc.
Cheers,
Potato Cod
