Hi there ! My name is Wayne. I've been diving since the mid '80s & whilst living in Asia for 8 years managed to get some good dives around Malaysia, Thailand, Mauritius, Indonesia & Maldives. But now I've settled here in Apollo Bay and have gone from a shortie to a 7mm semi dry (and a lot more lead !!). We are on the Great Ocean Road approx 2.5hrs south west of Melbourne, and there are some good dive spots here ranging from rocky inshore reefs, sponge gardens, kelp beds & a few wrecks. Most of us local divers like to get out and dive for lobster & abalone when the season is open. I own & run a fishing/dive/surf shop in town so get to meet a lot of fellow divers, so was pleased to find this website where I can meet & chat with even more.
