Hello all. I am definately new to this, but I am so excited about it all as well! I have always had a fascination with the ocean and have decided that it is finally time. I'm going to get my certification.

Maybe this is too much information but my reason of going (back) to Australia was to visit my boyfriend at the time. BUT, as most people know with 6,000 miles between you it's hard to have a stable relationship. So, that is over...BUT, I am still going to Cairns and going to see one of the 8th wonders of the world.

I will be there at the end of this month so if anyone will be there let me know! :-)

Sincerely,

Anna

Hi Anna! Welcome to the board, I hope you have a great time here!

Where abouts in Japan are you? I live down in Kyushu, but if you are in the Tokyo area we have quite a group of SB members who live up there. Like El O said...check out the Zen Divers forum! There's another link to it in my signature.

welcome, anna. hope you enjoy yourself here!

Be sure to check out our New Divers forum - a good place for your next post. Try it, it's habit forming. PM me if I can help you find your way here...

Hi Anna and welcome to SB. Lucky you going to dive the GBR. Have fun and dive safe.
And you got me beat on the long distance relationship. Mine was only 4529 miles (SF CA to Lima Peru).

I head if you dive Okinawa, the rest of the diving you wil ever do, will never be as beautiful. If you get the chance try to dive Okey, and welcome

:balloon :59: Hi Anna and welcome to SB, ask all the question you have, the people on SB are full of info and can pretty much help out in one way or another. No question is stupid or silly.
Enjoy the welcome to the under water world
