Hi everyone. I've posted a couple questions over the last week so I decided to stop in here and introduce myself.

I got certified last month in Jamaica (OW and AOW). I love diving and hope to do more of it. I was lucky and was able to get in 20 or so dives. My husband has been certified for 28 years (he was 14 when he started) and hadn't really dived for over 10. Now we're both excited about it.

Looking to start doing liveaboard vacations next May in combination with diving resorts. Hard part is finding places that offer challenging dives for me to expand my experiences as well as satisfy his advanced skills. Right now we are looking at a liveaboard in Belize combined with a week in the Bay islands.

I'm also spending all my time researching BCs and regs for myself. So suggestions on anything gear or travel related are most welcome.

congradulations on getting certified... may i suggest that you try the aqualung DIVA bcd. that is what my wife has and she loves it..... any of the aqualung first and second stages are great... they are also easy to work on and make adjustments.... good luck with you diving and keep training that is the secret to being good... clay from lousiana :)

So.... any interest in learning to dive dry and enjoying the awesome diving right here in AK? What's to see here, you ask? Well, check out the critters in my gallery for the answer to that one :crafty:

Seriously, if you and your hubby are interested in Alaska diving, I'm always looking for buddies :D
