Greetings everyone!
Ive been reading the board for a little bit and I always check the Lobsta Divahs every time I log on. Theres a lot of knowledge here and I appreciate everyones comments and insights, so I thought I would introduce myself to the congregation.
Im a 34 year-old guy from near Hartford, CT. I got certified in September 2004. Scuba training was something I always wanted and I finally had the time and the money to do it then. Im so glad that I did! When I look back on what I was able to do in the past year and a half I always feel grateful to my instructors for teaching me the skills that allow me to experience the underwater life. I cant wait until my next dive!
I would like to do more shore diving in New England. I got A Shore Diving Guide to New England by Jerry Shine over the winter and Id like to try some of those sights. Im also curious about Kayak diving. Id love to get into the Portland quarry since its so close. New England destinations on my short list are: Isle of Shoals (seals!), Lakes Champlain and Winnipasaukee, the Maine coast and some of the wrecks that are visited from the charters out of New London. Im sure that other new destinations will be added as I read more about everyone elses adventures.
