Hello fellow divers..

I'm considering emigrating to the Dordogne in France and I'm interested in the range of diving opportunities available..

Searching on the web doesn't reveal much in terms of accessible inland diving. Does anyone know any different ?

I know that the Dordogne is the home of French cave diving, and is something I'm definitely interested in, but my partner is not.. hence the need for 'normal' diving..

Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Thanks

Jason

Hopefully someone here can help. ScubaBoard has forums for different parts of the world...look there! And welcome!

If you like cave diving, you found the place : the Dordogne and the Lot are 2 of the best french spots for it.

If you read french
The website for french cave diving
http://pscausette.plongeesout.com/
And a web site of technical divers, one of the 2 webmasters is a cave diver living in the Lot :
http://www.ufp-plongee.com/

Your partner will have to drive a bit : the best places around are Arcachon and St Jean de Luz/Soccoa/Bayonne on the atlantic coast, or banyuls/Collioure on the Med.
