My name is Theresa I live in illinois. Just got cert with my 15 yr son. Thought I would join to find some dive sites in the united states. And some of the things i have read are very interesting.
 
Lake Michigan has some good wrecks. The Tocoma and Material Serice Barge are probably the best to start with. The break walls have most of the fish species. Your dive shop should know a good charter captian. If not try Ray Brown at Scuba Tank.
