I have been diving for about 12 years, am a PADI instructor, and although not currently making my living via scuba, I have done that for several years in the Caribbean. I've belonged to this group since 1994 but actually never posted anything before, so I thought I should say hello. I'm currently living in the (very dry) mountains of New Mexico and missing the underwater world, so will have to live vicariously until the next scuba trip.

Hello,
About time you spoke up. Plan a trip to SoCalifornia and lets get wet. I promise you unbelievable visibility (you call 10 feet visibility? I can't believe it!), warm waters of 50-60F, actually 52-55 is more normal, but fantastic giant kelp and lots of great diving.

Wow, it is a rare event when I beat Dandy Don in greeting a new member! He must be asleep. Hope you enjoy your time here with us!
