Hello folks.
My name is Peter. I got certified in 2001 (SSI). My wife is going into training this coming Tuesday. So looks like we are going to dive much more and that's why I signed up for this board.
We live in California, Bay Area. Yes you're right - cold water diving that's what primarily I was doing :)
I don't have my own equipment yet, just basic, so I'll be asking lots of questions on this topic.

Cheers,
Peter.

Welcome to the Party Line. I enjoy your kelp bed diving, but you can also learn more about traveling here - to warmer waters, different fishes and inverts, coral, etc.

Hi, all - I have my NAUI exam and my weekend of open water to go until certification! I'm very excited to finally be able to dive! It is something I've put off for some time and am finally getting around to, just in time to really be able to have some fun during my trip to Barbados. Am headed there in November and will of course be looking for good advice about dive ops on these threads.
Looking forward to more discussion and lots of learning.
Regards...

Welcome to Scuba Board, but...

This is actually Oceanrealm's Intro Thread.

You can open one of your own, so we can welcome you properly...

thanks, don
