Stay at the Carib Inn if you can... We just got back last week. The staff was wonderful and our little apartment style room was perfect! Everything is laid out wonderfully and you are right in the middle of the dive sites. Great little - well stocked kitchen for making breakfasts and a light lunch between dives.. We found the food to be pretty pricey... although very good everywhere, so eating breakfast and fruit etc for lunch in our room was perfect for us.
As for food... we really enjoyed eating at Paradise Moon, next to the Harbor. They have amazing fajita salads.... We also had fantastic barracuda a Will's. Cactus blue was really good too... I especially like the steamed veggies.. they add pumpkin and it is a lovely addition!
For a treat.... get coconut ice cream or blueberry yogurt at Lover's Ice Cream next to Chat-n-Browse!
Enjoy your trip.. Bonaire is PERFECT to celebrate your anniversary. Especially in the summer months when it isn't busy.. no cruise ships... you will sometimes feel like you have the island to yourself!
