Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

I'm sure there are some areas that you can dive in locally as well. Check out our Deep Dixie Divers forum to see what ScubaBoard members are doing locally in your area.

It may not be Cozumel, but you will probably enjoy your trip to someplace exotic if you keep honing your dive skills close to home.

Dive safe!

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

I agree with a lot of the folks here.......ANY diving is better than NO diving. Check out your local quarries, etc. Then, when you can get away to somewhere more exotic, you'll be spending your time diving instead of trying to get "tuned".

Welcome to Scubaboard!
