I got this off of a news feed from P-cola. I went out this morning to find squat, even though Alexa told me that it was snowing at 3:30 pm. So, post your Florida snow pics here! Even from friends and family, let's see who got hit!

9.8" recorded in Milton. New state record by over 2X! The photos and video coming out of the upper gulf coast are just incredible!! Here in far SWFL, just rain (which is very welcome at this point) and mid-40s.

I don't know ... My weather app shows Hell is about 79⁰F. Maybe a little cool, for Hell, but not worth all the whining ...

🤣

0⁰F here this morning and woke up to no heat. After some diagnostics, it seems that the furnace exhaust vent grill froze up. Hopefully, that was it and not an internal pressure sensor issue.

I had that happen to me last December, though it wasn't nearly as cold outside. A palmetto bug crawled under the circuit board outside and fried it. I fixed my heatpump by replacing a fuse and the circuit board. Yes, yes, I debugged the system.

No snow here in High Springs but it did dip below 31 degrees F. Supposed to again tonight.

Somewhere I've got an old picture (2005?) of "ice diving" in High Springs. It was at the old fill station where Rich Courtney used to work, and the water bath froze over. We set up a hole in the ice with a tether line going down into the hole and took a picture of it....
