My friend is an expert at maximizing one's VO2 Max and he and I are heading to Hawaii to train some swimmers in how to increase their VO2 Max. I'm also a rec diver, shore mostly and am starting my technical courses this year. I'm using his program for myself for swimming initially and it's been a game changer. Yes, I increased my lung volume by 1.2L and people immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was now consuming more air as a result. The exact opposite is what occurred, I never realized, as he showed me, that my respiration was stupid high (20 breaths per minute) before and after working his program for 6 weeks, my respiration during rest is now 7-8 breaths per minute. So I now consume a lot less air over the same 1 hour underwater as others. On a shore dive without the usual obese mouth breathers, I can stay under safely for 1:15 on standard air. Nitrox is crazy and without a wet suit, get a bit chilly at 1:30.

If you are in Hawaii and are interested in an in-person program while we are with the swimmers, DM me. I'll send you the link to his site to sign up. This a 4 step process that is 100% effective and will literally change your life as it changed mine. We will be on Oahu
