You might look into a private charter. We do them and have many guests that want 3T etc. We have one couple who book the boat 2x a year for a week. For them they are paying up but for a group your size it can be very cost effective depending on the size of the op you choose. The nice thing about GC is that while you are getting in your dives, the non dive centric partners can find activities that will sate their downtime itch as well.
 
Caydiver has a good idea. If there are 7-8 of you diving, a charter would cost about the same as a regular day boat and gives you more flexibility.
