Welcome to ScubaBoard!

So... this should be an interesting greet on the part of that other greeter. What was his name... oh yeah... "that fat dude".

Snorkel safe!

Hey Flounderhump, welcome to the board. How come you don't join us on the bottom yet?

:11: fat dude.....!

Welcome to the Board... Hope you'll survive long enough to learn how to Scuba with us!!!! :eyebrow:

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Seems like you come from good stock. Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

Snorkeling is good. It'll make the mask, fins, and breatrhing thru your mouth easier. We just never hold our breath.

Your dad's a funny guy but anyway welcome to the board, fun people, cool topics, great info.

P.S. Don't forget to fill out your profile.

We noticed you're 14 years old. So is our son. He just got his jr. open water PADI certification. In another couple of months, at 15, you can get full open water certification. Maybe you want to ask your parents for that as a birthday present?

I wonder if that will fly with his dad, Grier, now that he's referred to dad as "that fat dude"!

Let's think positive... teens aren't the most diplomatic people, but swimming/diving are forms of exercise. Maybe flounderhump's just trying to show concern by suggesting that dad could stand to loose a few pounds, and if he gets certified, then having a "dive buddy" in the family could get them out together more often.
