Thanks Doc, but I did little alone. I got lucky enough to work with some really nice people, in addition to nice people who are just working on their own to make SB friendlier and friendlier... :D

Ooh ooh, pick me pick me! hahahahah I wouldn't mind joining the "Orange Team", though I think that the idea of teen greeters would be so cool!

Personally, while I don't mind the idea, I wouldn't mind seeing it confined to the Intro and Greet forum.

I don't see a huge reason to clutter up a discussion with welcome posts.

I would be interested in joining "Teen Greeters." Sounds like a great idea!

Uh, yes sir - I guess so, but I don't understand? We're on the Intros forum here.

There are times when SB-newbie will ask a question in Intros, get half a dozen Welcomes, then the thread is moved to another forum. I suspect this may be what you've seen...? :D

Perhaps.

I'm not criticizing the intent or the people who are doing it. I simply rather not see the discussion fora cluttered with greeting posts, i.e., when the person posts a question in another forum before they introduce themselves.

Could you possibly post a link to an example? Wait, don't as this may be against the TOS. Please send me a PM and I'll work with Don to solve any problem there may be. We operate in the introductions forum. There shouldn't be "welcome" clutter anywhere else unless, as Don mentioned, the post was moved from the forum after we'd greeted a new member.

DandyDon:
I give you our original Orange Greeter Team...!

Really Dandy Don,

you really shouldn't call it the Orange Greeter Team unless there's a Dutchman involved, orange being our national colour...
