For the cross piece in the back, why not just use a wide triglide? Say you're using 1 inch webbing you could use a 1 1/2 or 2 inch triglide and it would work just fine and be adjustable.

I'm currently using the xs quick release pockets. I like them.

Paladin, how is the belt attached? Thanks.

There are adjustable loops at the four ends of the straps. You just thread the weight belt through the loops. With the wight pockets, you have two methods of dumping weights. You can empty each pocket individually or you can use the two quick release buckles at the front of the suspenders and dump everything.

I don't have a waist and it's hard for me to keep a weight belt on without cinching it uncomfortably tight. The suspenders keep the weight belt in place and I don't have to wear it uncomfortably tight.

You could build that harness for a lot less than $19.95 PLUS shipping...just saying.

Personally I would use stainless buckles just because, but either way I would worry about them being under my harness and getting pushed uncomfortably into my ribs.

Well heck, I found this in my weight bag search. I swear I'm going to get nickled and dimed to death. $16.95. For the time and effort this is the best buy IMHO.

This is the way we went and it has worked fine for us.
