Hi
Just looking for some info on Green lake if anyone has done a dive on it? and entry areas?,I know it has 3- parks or beach areas and seems to have alot boat traffic, but seems to have a nice depth if vis is not too bad!
And well with this N-easter looks like my Lake Michigan dives are off!this weekend.

Just be careful. Most boaters have no idea what a dive flag is. They're probably interested in check it out, more than staying away.

Thanks Brad! Thats kinda what I thought,Hey Your from Illinois have you ever been to Haigh Quarry Northern Illinois?

Brad I
Wisconsin

I dive there when I have to. If I'm doing a new cert or testing out new equipment. It's a nice safe controlled environment. It's also a good dive to get back into it from the long winter. My dive buddy has a boat and we dive in Lake Michigan usually every weekend off Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin.

Well...we went out and got our butts whipped into submission. Threes to fives, leaning toward fives, waves on a 4 second cycle out of the NNEand a 15 knot wind out of the E made for a day that brought many to their knees. Human hubris is one of the sins most hated by the gods, we appeased them with a copious application of the contents of the stomachs of a number of the more generous souls aboard. Coming back we found ourselves motoring head-on into the start of the Chicago - Mackinac sailboat race, it was like swimming upstream into a herd of drunk rabbits.

Shoulda :censored: stayed home.

Wow That sound just like a Capt. Out of Milwaukees e-mail report to me!I told him I would whimp out on a big pond dive today!
Well there is next WEEKEND!
Brad I
