See my post in "Spiegel Grove Cleared to Dive July 20th". Dove it on the 19th it's open and a nice dive now.

Good Diving,

Allison Finch:
Just curious if the wreck is considered "stable" after the upright shifting during the storm. If it is, what a great improvement over the, somewhat, botched sinking.

We were lucky enough to dive it yesterday and had a fantastic dive. We were tied in at about 62' and spent the dive just swimming the first deck or two... the ship is massive and while I'm sure it was a fun dive on it's side, it's fantastic now that it's righted...

I'll post a full trip report once we get back, but here are a couple of pictures -- forgive the quality as it's my first trip with a camera.

Now back to vacation :)

Allison, I'm sure all the operators are diving the Grove this weekend. We're dong Saturday and Sunday with Blue Water Divers (Brent) at (305) 453-9600 or (888) 953-9600, and I think there's 1 or 2 spots left.
