Has *anybody* gotten the Galileo to work on Mac??

Second the above. You should have no problem with a cheap IR on a PC. Smarttrak will not run on Mac's because of the IR chipset Apple chose to use.

I have both PC and Apple platforms and prefer PC desktops (I can run Photoshop in 64 bit mode, for example), and Apple lap tops (great screens).
