ok, LA is pretty damn big. Im not sure but would think that there has to be countries smaller than LA county! Where about are ya? yeah, LA County is a great class! My NAUI open water ran concurent with LAC. Later I went through PADI Rescue Class, everything was a refresher to my BOW!

If you dont mind using some specific equipment, spending a weekend @ Catalina, and really want to learn some good skills, contact MHK for GUE Fundimentals of diving (ignore all the bashing and chest beating you may here online its a good class that teaches you some very usefull skills) shoot me a PM, we can talk.

Thanks jviehe, what you are saying makes a lot of sence, if you combine the Padi OW, AOW and Rescue, you have a pretty good program indeed...

Hi David P, I am located in Hancock Park which is east of Beverly Hill and south of West Hollywood. Funny you mention it, I was actually reading about the GUE program on their website, and DIR the other day. Pretty interesting stuff for sure. I'll definitly PM you my infos...

On an other note, I really think the LAC program is promessing, however the program starts in July, and work permited (unfortunatly pretty busy right now) I'll like to start sooner, hopefuly next month. Anybody know about www.lascubadiving.com?

It's PADI, but they restrict their class to 2-4 people, it's a full time school, not a shop. And they are very close to were I work which is a big plus obviously.

After OW and AOW I don't think going rescue diver...
