I amnew to diving. i have a fewfriends thatdive and convinced me to do a discovey class. im hooked. got my OW cert on 12 16 12. it was snowy and cold during the confined classes, but they were indoors. The OW was atbBlue Hole, in Santa Rosa NM. It snowed, then rained. air temp was 36, and water 64. being in the water was great. Getting out, not so much. I had myfirst fun dive he following day.

I will likely do much of mydives nearby, with trips to Sd, Ca everyone in a while. I am lookingtogather gear as quickly as i can afford it. J dont anticipate much diving till it warms up some . I hope to see yall out t.here

Welcome, I just got certified in September at the Aurora reservoir. I went to the Key Largo in October. I highly recommend it! the water temp was 84 degrees.

I did my certification dives in Chatfield. Brrrrrrrr

Living in the Denver area the airport allows for a quick escape to the warm and clear waters of the Caribbean and Florida often non-stop and easy. Have fun with your new hobby. I know that it is one of the best things I have ever done! Welcome to Scubaboard, there is a cornucopia of experience and information available.

Welcome aboard, and enjoy your new found hobby...I consider mine more of an addiction myself, but whatever you end up calling it...Enjoy!!!
