I was working as a safety diver this weekend for a group of marine scientists that are filming a documentary. We were out at Anacapa Island (Landing Cove) and unbeknownst to me, the camera I had clipped off to my BC was videoing while I was at the surface ensuring that everyone got back on the boat safely after our dive. This playful group of pinnipeds decided to hang out with us all afternoon. Visibility is amazing right now-- 60-90 feet. See video here:
