Bubbleseekers the Titan CCR folks have some really neat gloves/lights. Saw em Demo'd and inuse. Tomar the owner of the company threw the lights off the table onto concrete, smiled and asked if he "was worried?" Looks like an alternative to can lights.
 
The new Salvo's are pretty nice as well.
 
For me, the problem with the neoprene light socks is the same as with the soft Goodman handles--you often want to switch your light to the other hand. Getting the soft handle off isn't usually a problem, but getting it back on can be a pain. It's much easier to pass the light back and forth with a rigid Goodman handle, even better if the Goodman handle has some type of thumb loop.
 
true. i liked the idea of the rigid goodman, but it was so huge on my itty hand that it was uncomfortable. so i have the elastic one which i can make snug but which stretches over the course of the dive until it's a big loop & i'm just holding the light head... some day i'll come up with a solution perfect for me...
