This discussion and the words of Luko: If prepayment is required I will prefer credit card since all I'm paying is covered with the card insurance.
Prepaying will also depend on the area of Indonesia, for instance I won't ever prepay my dives in Bali, I book them and pay on premises,
made me rethink our policy again. This is the result:

NO DEPOSIT – NO CANCELLATION FEE – PAY WHEN YOU CHECK OUT
The only thing required to confirm your booking is to provide us with your full name(s) and a copy of your confirmed flight itinerary.
Payment can be done by internet banking, cash, debit card or credit card.
*To avoid the risk of exchange rate fluctuations, payment can also be done in advance. We will even offer you a 5% discount on the total bill when paid within 1 week of receiving your invoice.

We have use ATMs and on occasion along wioth banks to convert $ to Rupiahs. The problem there was that $300 is a lot of money in the local currency and the banks were a bit surprised.
