Hey guys, saw that they pulled up two pretty fairly sized hammerheads off a swimming beach in Shizuoka a couple of days ago. Does Japan have a pretty large population of hammerheads similar to other famous places?
Are there any other big things you can catch a glimpse of in these waters?

Yes, you have quite a lot of big fishes here. Rays, sharks, mola molas, turtles, bumpheads... But you need to get out on a boat for that. South and West Izu are generally better.
