Just wondering if any of you belong to a chapter of the Hammerheads? I signed up, but haven't heard anything in over a week, is this normal? No big deal, it would just be nice to find out more about them. I went to their website, but there's not much info out there at the moment.

We joined the local club here in Houston a couple of years ago. Each chapter is different, depending on it's members wishes. The Houston chapter wasn't too interested in diving locally so we went in search of others who were.

Yep, I belong here in Minneapolis. The person in charge of it currently is down in Cayman, I think, for a bit. She should be back in the near future. If nothing else, e-mail directly to the address of the person on the site. I noticed that your name is listed on the site as a member.

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Last month it was down in Eagan. Things are kind of slow right now since most are warm water divers. Only a couple are into ice diving. Come spring there will more activity, such as going to Superior, Wazee, Crosby/Ironton (for regional), local lakes, and I know that a batch have done a trip or two to the Carib.

Sounds good! I'll check the website to see where they're meeting next... thanks for the info.
