I didn't know that Oxy Cheq sold tank bans with their Backplate and Harness packages. You might wanna check on that.

A Harness Kit IS a harness kit. All are made from 2" webbing with 6mm D-rings and SS Sliders. Some kits include a SS Bolt so as to bolt the Crotch Strap to the Backplate. Others simply thread the Crotch Strap thru a horiz slot on the BP. Either way...it works out the same. I think the Bolt makes it a little easier to adjust the Crotch Strap. Hammerhead includes that SS Bolt in their kit.

As far as I know no one is including the tank cam bands in their BP & Harness Kits. OMS, Dive Rite, Halcyon, Oxy Cheq, Abysmal, FredT, and Hammerhead kits DO NOT come with tank bands.

DSS includes the tank bands with the complete harness kit. I just got one a few weeks ago.

Never heard of them.

I got my Oxycheq harness from scubatoys, and it definitely has 2 cam bands on it. I'm looking at it now, hehe. It's the Oxycheq O-pac here: Scubatoys BC's

I just got my backplate from Hammerhead today. It looks great, and I haven't been able to find any burs yet. I went with the stainless steel bp (5 lbs) and the stainless steel one piece STA (4 lbs I think) so I can remove some weight. They had some nice service and I would probably use them again because of the great prices.

Ahhh.

The O-Pac doesn't accept backplates in it though - does it?

Nope, it's pretty much a backplate covered in padding, with padding on the harness etc. I decided to just go with the "real thing" and get a regular backplate.

It does look like the cam bands will come off so I can use them though.
