I reiterate @dirtfarmer post in my Ring of Fire thread above about his “Hammer time” trip. He went there with Black Manta, Ambon-Sorong thru Banda Sea to Missol Nov 2015. He saw hammerheads around couple of small islands in Kekeh Besar area. Hopefully he reads this thread & fill in more specific dive sites where the hammerheads cruising by.

Sorry due to horrible notes I don't have the name of the divesite, if it even has one. Take me with you and I can show it to you.

I heard 2016 wasn't as good for hammers as previous years, and that El Nino might have been the culprit. (I've edited changing to 2016 from last year.)

Nu really makes you wait for the Hammers in the 2017 video.

I was on the trip just after the one in the 2015 video.

He does. The pressure is ON for 2019! :D $6000 to sink in for such a trip is a lot of money. That's why I try to get a group & split the free of charge equally amongst us to get at least $1000 off for each of us.

Alex Lindbloom saw the schooling hammerheads around Manuk island in May 2017 with what looks like Mermaid II liveaboard.
