wing designed for CCRs is rather ironic... :D
To be more precise it's wing designed for inverted tanks. Maybe firemen will use it :D

does this put the nail in the coffin of the idea that halcyon + gue + dir are just one big unified plot to take over the world?

GI3 must be rolling over in his... speedos...

I don't expect George to be excited. He's no fan of rebreathers!

To be quite honest, I understand why they made it. If it's a good product and there's a market for it, then it was a good business decision. Even if CCRs aren't DIR.

I loaned my Pioneer 27 out to a KISS diver. He liked it, but the wing was too long. I haven't seen anything about the LENGTH of the wing yet in any of these postings.

If Barney likes and uses it, I'd be willing to bet it's a decent wing.

The length of the wing is about the same as a standard doubles wing- which is much better for the Meg than a single tank wing, as it allows the unit to stand upright without haveing to worry about pulling a section of wing out from under the plenum. I have been "making do" with a 36# single tank wing for the last several months, as I found my 40# Explorer just HUGE on the Meg- WAAY to much wing hanging off the sides. I will be diving my new wing on Sunday :).
