I got a Halcyon wing, I was wondering if it is normal that they didn’t provide the screws to mount the STA without the weight ?

The screws are directly attached to the weight and they didn’t give spare screws ?

I mean I can get screws myself but I thought for the price they could have given me some to use without the weight :)

Ask your lds nicely, they usually have extras. Or hit up a hardware store.

Actually I have a silly question: I though as well about going to the DIY shop but won’t a generic bolt rust ?

I guess any bolt will rust anyway eventually, it’s not like they are gonna make them out of titanium.

You can get those that are Marine Grade, obviously over years rust will eventually happen but they are much more resistant then regular screws.

Also, disassembling them every couple of months to give them a fresh water rinse and air dry is a good way to prolong the life expectancy of the screws.

316 stainless will hold up well unless if you actually leave it in the salt. Even 304 does ok.
