Keep the right hip d-ring! Great place to hang your safety reel and/or another stage bottle. Plenty of room for it behind where your light will be secured. In fact, the d-ring will help secure it--butt the loop up against the d-ring and then put a spare buckle on the strap end side to hold it from that direction.
I also have the bolt snap on the light head handle to clip off on the shoulder d-ring; when I need to park it while it's turned on (to handle stages, etc.) I loop it around my neck and let it hang in the chest area.
