I have been using a Evolve 40lb wing. Usually I have double PST LP80. These tanks are just like X7-100 except maybe 1-1.5 inch longer. The Evolve is almost too long. The wing bottom is longer than the break of the bottom tank curve. It is just short so pinching is not likely to happen. With X7-100, the wing can actually reach and wrap the bottom more than half way on the curve. I am afraid one day, I will pinch my wing. Does any one has the same concern or problem? Or I am just too paranoid.

Yeah, you do have a couple inches all around with an Evolve 40 and a set of HP100s. The Evolve 60 is about the same length, but a little wider.

Has never been a problem for me and I'm not gentle to gear.

I use the Evolve 60 with steel 119's (same height as the 100's I believe) and have never had a problem in ~500 or so dives with that set-up. I do try to ensure I'm not setting the tanks on the wing when I sit back down on the boat.
