I just bought one of these and ordered a atomic ss1 will there be any problems with matching these up??

I dont to teck just Recreational...

I am so jealous. That's what I am trying to get.

From the research I have done, you may need to get a longer corrugated hose and a longer LP hose.

Let me know how your install it as I will be buying an SS1 or something like it.

I used to have an Atomic SS1 and it came with about 4 different fittings so you should have no problems fitting it to just about any corrugated hose.

It also comes with it's own custom low pressure hose to hook up to your first stage. You need this custom hose because it provides greater airflow as this is also a regulator.

Unless the hose is magic, I can't fathom how it would increase airflow...

I agree with Perrone, since the low pressure hoses that you use on your normal second stages are the same in terms of size and internal diameter---it's just that the low pressure inflator hose has a slightly different fitting.

Please post if you are able to make it work. I'd like to do something like this too, but I was concerned that I might be arrested by the DIR Police for attaching an unsafe inflator/octo to a BP/W :)

I’m expecting a call from Halcyon technical services tomorrow to find out if it can be done. As soon as I find out I will post.

Sure, it can be done. There is the thread about Air 2 attachment on Eclipse wing here. Use "search" function.....

Edit: You might consider the length of corrugate hose. The Halcyon one is only 12 inch... You might need at least 14 inch to breathe.......

I had an AIR2 on a Pioneer 36 back in the day. Worked fine, most corrogated hoses are the same diameter.

Although connecting those two pieces of equipment might have the same effect as water on the Wicked Witch... wether the wing or the SS1 is the witch depends on your own personal leanings... :D

LOL... I'm dying to hear what the good company Halycon will say in response to your wanting to put a SSI second air on their wing...
