Hi thanks for the responces.

Kracken, I'll PM you those dimensions.

Scubaroo, No the Eclipse does not have Cam Slots, that's the problem. In fact if the wings did have cam slots (like the Pioneer) they would be perfect because the plates slots are right on the money. The easiest answer would be "then get the pioneer instead" but it's not nearly as heavy duty as the Eclipse.

Wendy, It's all about eliminating hassle! That's why I went for a wing to begin with. To not have a tank that stands up would be a major pain in the neck (or worse)! :)

Cali68,

A couple of things:
The standard center/center distance of the mounting bolt holes is 11".
From the center point between the bolt holes tell me how far up you want the CENTER of the top strap slots and how far down you want the CENTER of the lower strap slots. This placement predicates the design of the STA.

Also, do you want a relief in the outside edges of the STA to accommodate a pony bottle strap?

What's a relief?

A "relief" would be a shallow recess cut along the edges that touch the tank on each side between the tank straps that would allow you to pass a pony bottle strap around your tank without the STA interfering with it.

Kinda like this:

TANK SITS HERE

Pony Strap goes between uprights.
