I've been diving with my drysuit for like 2months now and have a neoprean dry suit hood... and I'm letting my hair grow out. It was short, barely below my ear, now I need to tie it back. The problem I'm now having is that the extra hair is making for a lot of water exchange. Ideas, solutions... siccors?

thanks

Hi Kaffphine,

I'm a new diver, and haven't used a dry suit, but I do have significant amounts of hair. I use a Lycra (Not Latex!) bathing cap to contain my tresses, so they won't be ripped out by my mask strap. Both Nike and TYR make them, and I got mine on-line at D & J Sports. Might be worth a try!

Happy Diving,

Scuba-sass :)

Look up the member "Dee". She has her own invention - the "Dee-Rag" - both fashionable and practical!!! :mean:

If I find the link to her webpage about them I'll let you know x
