I was there this past weekend (and will be this Saturday). Viz sucked. At 40-50 feet it was less than 10 feet. Around 2 feet in some places. The deep hole was always less than 5 feet.

I was there on Sunday and Duane pretty much summed it up.

I was there last weekend and it was as far as you can see.

(like 10-20 on the shallow side)

So how was it the 13th/14th??

I'm going out to do my AOW and was hoping for better than a few feet, but I guess I don't need to see to do my Nav dive....

We were there on the 14th for 2 dive, even with all the rain it could have been a lot worse. The shallow end was a little poor near the walk in entrance and the artifact park, but for the most part it was 15-25 viz especially on the far side of the quarry. The temp on the surface was 72 degrees, we stayed between 25-40 feet for the most part and the temps above the cline were in the high 60's. All in all except for the rain we had 2 really good dives.

Ugh...I'll be there on Oct. 11th for underwater pumpkin carving and to knock off one of my dives for my advanced open water...hopefully it's better than what everyone has reported lately! I was at Pearl Lake last weekend and vis was fantastic!
